Their goal was to educate and enlighten the new generation, making them proficient in English while also nurturing our age-old traditions. Through well-organized educational programmes and coordinated management, the institution has earned the trust and appreciation of conscientious parents and guardians. The school started it's journey with the managing committee efficiently headed by Captain Mr. M. Zakaria former Commandant of Marin Academy , Ex Chairman of Ctg Port. Other members of the managing committee were Mr.Syed Azadul Huq , a renowned business man and Mrs. Dilshad Huq , academic director of the school. Now, the school management committee is led by prof. Hasina Zakaria former Principal of Ispahani Public School and College, under whose guidance the institution continues to flourish.Being a very experienced educationist, Prof. Hasina Zakaria is one of the view that we have to be effecient in English and uphold the prestige of our mother tongue and native culture simultaneously.In this fast moving global age there is no alternative to mastering English as it has claimed the prestige of being the global language. Hence introducing English version under National Curriculum based on native perspective presents a preferred alternative to a curriculum based on foreign contex. Located in Khulshi Residential Area, Radiant School & College - comprised of two units - offers a conducive learning environment. A team of 56 dedicated teachers is entrusted with the responsibility of educating approximately 650.All the teachers are well educated and possess a very high level of professionalism. Apart from subject based teachers, there is a computer teacher, music teacher, art teacher. Currently the institution is led by the esteemed Principal, Mr. A K M Fazlul Karim Chowdhury, former principal of Cox's Bazar Govt. College and Cox's Bazar Women College, former secretary of the Chattogram Board.He gives more preference on close monitoring. Every teacher has to make a lesson plan before taking a class.Instead of taking resort to scolding or any physical punishment, we ensure that children learn through pleasure.In all classes, junior and senior class teachers take the help of teaching aids and teaching materials to make their teaching effective.At the tail end to each class there is a review of the class so that students can master the lesson within the classroom.The assessment process includes class tests and two terminal exams.Moreover, each terminal exam is proceeded by an 'Assessment Test' .The parents are duly informed of the exam results and the conduct and behavior of the students.To attain just an academic excellence is not the sole target of the institution.With a view to develop the inner talent of the pupils, the school ensures extract curricular activities like art, recitation, music, debating.We also publish wall paper and magazine which give chance to the students to express their inner faculty.Apart from these, annual study tour, colorful sports and cultural competition and Celebration of national days are the important aspects of RSC. Examination is the age old medium or assessment. Through the result of examination one can get a fair idea about the performance or an institution. Since its inception,RSC has been maintaining an enviable record of excellence in exam results. The first batch of SSC examinees appeared for the public examination in 2007, and since then, RSC has maintained a remarkable record of achieving a 100% pass rate every year.In the result evaluation, Radiant School and College , Chattogram, under the national curriculum, ranked 2nd among English version schools in Chattogram .And RSC also holds 35th position in board rank . Alongside academic excellence, the students have achieved recognition in various competitions , Science Fairs, Math Olympiad and football tournaments, winning awards and honour .
